About allw.mn
A reading site built out of Markdown files: no database, no tracking scripts, and nothing between you and the story.
allw.mn publishes the AllWomenStalk archive the way it should have been published in the first place: as plain text, fast, and readable by anyone — including the software people now read the web with. ## What this is Every article on this site is a Markdown file. There is no database and no content management system in front of it. The file is the article; the page you are reading is that same file, wrapped in a stylesheet and formatted in your browser. That has a few consequences we care about: - **It loads immediately.** There is no render-blocking script, no ad auction, no consent wall, no layout that finishes assembling itself after you have started reading. - **It works without JavaScript.** Turn scripting off and the whole article is still there, images and all. The scripts we do ship add search, a contents list and a couple of reading controls — nothing that carries the text. - **It is honest about what it collects.** Nothing. No analytics, no cookies, no third-party pixels. The "human check" panel in the header runs entirely in your browser and makes no network requests at all. ## What we publish Beauty, style, relationships, food, travel, health and the ordinary business of a life — the AllWomenStalk subjects, rewritten and republished with the clutter removed. Articles imported from the original site link back to it and name it as the canonical source; we do not claim someone else's work as ours. ## Languages Articles exist in English, Spanish and French. A translation is a sibling of the original rather than a copy of it: it has its own URL, its own canonical link, and it inherits its date, author and category from the original so the two can never disagree. ## Who is behind it A small team that got tired of the modern article page. If you want to talk to us, [contact](/contact/) is one page long and the address on it is real.
